September – December Book Haul

Hey guys! As I wrote in one of my previous posts, I studied this past semester in Scotland, at the University of Glasgow. And one of the things I was most excited about was all the bookshops I would get to go to. Living in Portugal, there aren’t many places to go and buy books in English, and where I can actually physically hold and (yes) drool at. I read mainly in English so most of the books I own I bought them online.

But living in the UK for almost four months definitely ruined my bank balance. There were bookshops everywhere, and I plan to make a post about my favourites. But WATERSTONES my god was I in love. There were also so many great second-hand bookshops! And let’s not forget about Fopp (!!!!). I went crazy and bought a bit over 30 books. Luckily they did all fit in my luggage.

I’ll also include the Goodreads page for each book in the (x).

So here are the books!

These first nine books are the ones I had to buy for this semester. I actually had to get 19 books for uni (thank God for second-hand bookshops), but I decided to leave 10 of them for charity at the local Oxfam. These nine books are the ones I decided to keep:

So that’s it! And now I’m going to spend the rest of the year practicing my self-control and not buy any more books (hahahaha) because my wallet cannot take it.
